Ülken Law Firm provides legal services to Human Resources and Finance departments in the field of employment law. Subsequent to the training, we perform legal audits to ensure that business procedures are in accordance with labor law and company regulations and we present our findings to company management. Individual Employment Contracts: We prepare employment contracts for our client companies’ employees in line with their job descriptions, non-competition agreements for key employees, non-disclosure “agreements and provide legal consulting services for these matters.

Sub-contractor Agreements: The firm prepares and revise all service related agreements of client companies including Special Security agreements, training agreements, all sub-contractor agreements , agreements related to Labor Law.

Employee Records: The firm keeps track of the updating of the records and provide recommendations to revise the employee records to comply with current Labor and Social Security Laws. Job application form, overtime approval form, Contracts related to personel use of company assets, user manuals, personnel evaluation and appraisal forms, annual leave and other leave records are revised in accordance with any changeslegal regulations. When we discover the company needs additional forms,, we alert the company departments to prepare these additional forms

Hiring and Dismissal Services: Ülken Law Firm provides legal consulting services to companies from hiring to dismissal phases. When any employee leaves the company we recommend that Human Resources departments execute the operations. We provide support for preparing absolvement documents, notification of departing personnel to Social Security when an employee is terminated by the company and audit the documentation in the event of the resignation of an employee.

When a company terminates the job contracts of many employees at once we are engaged by the company to monitor the termination process. We also provide information about job security and court decisions regarding the terminated employees’ rights to regain their previous positions in the same company.

Training and Information Bulletin Services: The firm provides periodical training to personnel department employees regarding court decisions in personnel issues and key points in personnel transactions. We also prepare information bulletins about changes in regulations and transmit them to company officials.

Periodical Legal Audit Services: The firm conducts biannual legal audits for our client companies. In these audits, we ensure the completeness and validity of employee record files, salary documents, salary accounts and account records. We examine the terminated employees’ records, review the annual leave records, labor related accidents, notifications to authorities in terms of compliance. We then present our findings to company management

Sub-contractor Audit Services: The firm audits the sub-contractor employee records and ensure that   the Social Security payments are made, employees are registered to Social Security and that the employees are being paid by the sub-contractor and thatemployees do not work above the maximum allowed working hours per month. We present the situation and evaluate the risks to company management in monthly reports.

Disputes: The firm provides legal services for  employee receivables (seniority and severance pay, salary payments, etc.), courts’ decisions regarding the terminated employees’ rights to take their previous positions in the same company, indemnification payments stemming from work related accidents, Social Security recourse cases, disputes about social security service period. For these cases, we appoint attorneys well-versed in Labor and Social Security Law and enpower them with the authority to settle the cases if there is such a ground for settlement.
